Hello all
I am sure a few of you have seen my rather accurately descirbed thread "B#?tards" but if not then i will give a brief outline:
On Friday i was in a crash resulting in my car bieng violated and is in no fit state to drive. One insurance assessor has said that my car is a write off - simply because its 15 years old. But what should i do, should i let them pay out for it and get another one or shall i get it fixed my self. To be honest its not in that bad of a state, new front bumper, new front offside wing and a bonnet is needed
so i am in two minds about what to do.
I think most body shops wont touch my car, with it not being "economical" for it to be fixed. But i like it alot and dnt want to lose it after only a month of ownership?
You Decide!!

If all it needs is a bumper, bonnet and wing then it depends what you've already spent on it. If it was mine Id just keep the car coz its worth more to me than it is on paper and its a great excuse to change to look of the car ie:small/big bumper, vented wings etc.
s'up to u at the end of it all but I know Id be lookin into some modding potential in order to get some positives out of it!

I really do want to keep it but its the pain in the arse of having a bent car! although the bonnet seems to shut alright still

if the cars bent them let them pay out coz all it'l take is the slightest knock again and your fooked! Tis hard for someone to say without seeing it tho. Best option is take it to someone locally and see what they say. I used to know a guy near me who got ex write offs back on the road, someone like that'l be able to help!

well i guy i know said his mate can sort me out, but i am not sure what is happening with my insurers first! they need to pull their finger out!
