Title: pig to start when hot?? help!

hi can anyone help me? my scirocco is i right pig to start when hot, it just started two weeks ago. first thing in the morning it starts first turn of the key! once warm you just have to keep it cranking maybe upto 30 seconds and eventually it will go, ive changed the fuel filter,plugs,auxillery air valve,cold start valve but still no joy??  help!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!1

Sounds like the injectors are leaking after you have shut down, common problem as they get older. Fuel then sits in the cylinder and over time will evaporate, hence its OK in the morning but over shorter periods you're basically flooded. A quick fix that you can do to help reduce the flooding is to disconnect the cold start injector.........worked on my coupe GT for another 70,000 miles. If that reduces the crank time then you have confirmed its leaking injectors and you can do what I did, leave it disconnected. Alternatively you may want to purchase new injectors. HTH :D
