Title: Changing Backlight Bulbs on Late 1990 Dash (speedo section)
Post by: Daxcossie on 08 November 2005, 10:42: Just purchased a replacment VDO Dash with MFA as the Motortech one gave up the ghost some time ago. I have been told that the new dash is working, but I just need to replace the backlight bulbs on it. How do I do this? Thanks in advanve for your advice. :smiley:

Post by: tobz. on 10 November 2005, 10:14: Haven't got a pic but you should see some little squareish black plastic stubs sticking out of the rear of the instrument panel. These are the bulbholders, you simply twist them through 90 degress and they will come out.

Post by: Daxcossie on 10 November 2005, 18:44: Think, I have worked it out. Whoever sold me the dash on ebay has removed all of the bulbs, so there are only holes in dash (great stuff!). Lets just hope the rest of it works? fingers crossed.
