Title: sensor gone?

oil temperature sensor on the mfa has stopped working.  Darn it, what might it be and if it's just the sensor needs replacing, where is the sensor?  Thx

sensor is just behind the oil pressure sensor on the top of the oil cooler.

on a 16v the oil temp sensor is on the back right of the head (dizzy side). green wire running to wee sensor

no!! they are the water temp sensors!

oil temp one is actually on the back of the head above the exhaust manifold.
