do i have to take my bumpers off first?
-
Nope you can just about slide em underneath without too much trouble, but even if you do its only 4 bolts on each bumper to remove em :)
Did you get the mounting kit for the sills?
-
yeah, ive got two strips and four clips, ones broken tho but i can glue it, im assuming i need some double sided sticky stuff but halfords aint got any at the mo, couldnt i just glue it? any tips would be greatly appreiciated
Cheers

dont cheapskate on the sticky pad stuff or it will fall off
i bunged in two rivets at each end of the sill. works well
-
ok ive bought 10 clips and 2 sill mounting strips which come with the sticky stuff allready on,
now to the important bit, in what order do i put it all together?
-
ok got my mounting kit and its all on now, abit of a bastard at times(my fault for doing one side in the damp and windy weather) had to modify my door trims slightly to keep the thick style, and then had to play with the front splitter to make that fit and now it looks pretty good, ill get some pics up tomorrow, i need some back2black tho, half my trims grey and the other black:D

kiwi shoe dye ;)
-
Tesco own shoe dye!
-
shoe dye?
-
Yeah, use black shoe dye and rub it in. Then when its dry lightly buff it to leave a glossy shine!
It lasts longer than Back to Black but its a bit more messy!
I wish i had a bumper to clean!

Top: original
middle: autoglym bumper care (lasted about a fortnight)
bottom: liberal application of kiwi shoe dye, lasted over 6 months then I sold the car :)
