a quick question as i am not sure if its my car or not , recently when pulling up outside the house i have noticed a oil puddle that in the rain disappears quite quickly ,is it possible that the car kicks out some oil when it stops .
And just briefly would a strut brace up the front make much diffence to the handling
sorry if these questions seem daft but any help would be appreciated

strut brace will help yes, stops the car flexing so helps it stay on track.
are you sure its oil thats leaking? as i'd be surprised if rain washed it away. could be break fluid if your lines are in bad condition?

If this question is about the Golf in your pic, I think some stiffer, lower springs would help as well.

Get under and look for leaks. Its the only way forward.

My brake master cylinder went last week, but for the few last days before it expired and i replaced it i kept noticing a puddle on my drive that also vanished at the first sight of any rain so could very possibly be brake fluid from somewhere. Good idea to sort really, or you could end up doing 40 down a big, meaty hill when they give up leaving you with just the handbrake... like mine. sorted now tho
