HI PPL CAN I RUN 80/100W BULBS IN MY MK2 GOLF GTI ?? WILL IR BURN IT OUT?? I HAVE THE STANDARD LIGHT LOOM?? CHEERZ  :grin:

it may well do mate seeing as it struggles with the standard 60/55 jobs!! Get yourself an uprated loom and blind people!!  :cool:

Dizzie sells uprated looms for mk2s and you can use higher wattage bulbs no problem, it might be best to PM him and ask his advice as he knows his stuff on the looms etc.  :smiley: His looms are look very professional and a few people on here have bought them from him and all feedback has been positive.

60/55 is fine with Dizzies loom...don't really need much more, unless you do rallying in the middle of the night that is  :grin: :laugh:

running 100w bulbs on the original loom will burn it out and there's a risk it'll start a fire. plus it'll be a right pain to replace.
