Title: roof lining?

how do u take this out on a mark 2??
can get as far as the mirror but it wont come out, also how do i take it off the sun roof??
any ideas cheers, but first need a new engine

For the sunroof...
This is a really tricky job.
First take off all the screws along the top of the roof even the reflector.
Then take the 5 clips off along the front of the inner sunroof.
-these clips are hidden so i think you might have to tear the cloth and retrim it later like i did.

Now you should be able to seperate the metal roof from inner board by holding the board and opening the sunroof by the handle.

Once you have seperated these, slide the inner board out and up. Be careful not to scratch the roof.

The inner lining...
I would take off all clips, screws also the plastic bits near the seatbelts etc

Im not sure how to take the whole sunroof off but hope this helps.
