Hi all,
I got the vag-com software after discovering previous owner had unhooked the bulbs for the airbag and ABS lights, (yep they stay on). Had 2 fault codes come up:
00285 ABS wheel speed sensor
front right (g45) out of range
00588 Airbag igniter
driver side (n95) resistance too high
Can anyone tell me where to start on these? ive had a look at the tube thing located within the drivers door sill and cant see anything unconnected.
As for the ABS shall i just take the wheel off and clean the sensor up?

Forgot to add, I did clear the codes but they come back straight away, the lights stay on permanently.

Dont know about the airbag problem , i would suggest its a garage job . [Then if it goes off its their fault ]
As for the ABS sensor , give it a clean aas they are magnetic , otherwise swap it out , not a big job .
