Afternoon All
just posting thisto see if i could have some of your valuable feedback or experiences please, maybe this has been asked before, I ordered a VW Golf MK8 clubsport back in OCT25 with a lease company and was told March26 for delivery which was all good , March came and no update apart from VW havent updated them a build date yet, month on month same excuse no build date in a queue but with a excuse of having issues with production of the spoiler, Can anyone shed any light or in a simular position? im too invested time wise now to cancel and we had a great deal on it . appreaciate your time.

The initial batches of 8.5 orders came through really quickly but have since slowed dramatically.
After many years of glacial wait times for what is essentially a mass produced hatchback I tend to stick with in stock or build slot allocated cars nowadays. Life’s too short and something else interesting could pop up by the time one has waited ages for a build slot. I respect the dedication of waiting though.
