Title: Auto hold, hill start, ehandbrake release after Clutch Replacement

Anyone use ODBEleven or other tool to sort this?

Got a new clutch in the car and now the hill hold, auto hold and electronic handbrake release are acting up. They basically don't let go of the brakes at the right time as I pull away.

Google AI suggests that's because the new clutch will have a slightly different bite point and the clutch pedal position sensor doesn't know this, so it needs resetting/recalibrating/adapting using a diagnostic tool to do. Does that sound right?

Can anyone give me a steer. I have OBDEleven Pro, but I don't understand much how to use it yet.

I did not have to any of that after my clutch was replaced. Is there a sensor on the clutch pedal?

Apparently there is something called the clutch pedal position sensor that measures the travel. 0% = not pressed and 100% = fully pressed. I haven't disturbed the sensor or the master cylinder, but wondering if changing other components might affect the reading.

I guess the question is, what else could be causing the issue? Having driven the the auto hold sometimes releases fine, but often tries to hold on, sometimes to the point have depres the clutch and set off again to release it.

Try searching for Basic settings on the brakes, autohold etc...

I think there is a setting in vcds abs module to alter the timing of clutch release but not checked it out. Does the slope the car is on affect how the release point operates? Just thinking if this could it be an issue with the sensor that monitors the slope?
