Gti clubsport with 235/35/19 hankooks fitted from factory
Looking for help in what to fit as replacement
Michelin ps4s or pilot sport 5 or conti sc7 or maybe pirelli
-
I doubt you can go wrong with any of those. Perhaps just go with the best deal you can get?
-
Do all 4 need replacing? If not then the Hankooks seem ok to me after running a set for 12 months.
If replacing all 4 I’d be tempted with some all season tyres personally.

All good choices. I have run mine on Goodyear Eagle Asymmetric 6 19" since 2023 with no issues regarding handling/wet/grip.

I have ran all the tyres in that list in that size apart from contis on my GTI's and now running th PS5'S would choose them again without hesitation.

I’m on my second set of PS5’s, can’t fault them. I imagine 4’s are just as effective.

5'S are better imo had both in same size same car.

tried all of the below mentioned, currently running hankooks from factory, which imo is a piss poor factory choice of a tire for this car, ran ps4s for ages before switching to ps5s, wife's got conti sc7, and had pirelli p zeros from factory in my mk6. All things considered, any of the michelins all day long for me, but i guess it also comes down to personal preferences, i find the contis much quieter, pirellis were lively but had a much shorter lifespan, ps4s were the pick for me but unable to get my hands on them anymore hence the switch to the newest ps5s. Also consider that i am located in Cyprus hence much higher running temperatures than uk

Michelin ps4s fitted today replacing hankook s1 evo3
What a difference it now it handles like a clubsport should have from the start

Surprising how much better the car feels on michelins

It steers and puts the power down with ease it's how it should be

undisputed king of tires, that's how my tire guy (who btw got himself a brand new Cupra and just upgraded it to over 500hp) calls them michelins    hard to argue, best all rounder, all season tire i've ever had
