Hi there I was just wondering if any of you guys or girls had took the two years Volkswagen warranty out for 3995 a month which includes Two services two years roadside assistance Two MOT and two years warranty thanks is it any good? A good deal or am I just waste my money? Thanks.

Yes, I have just taken it out, in this day and age there aren't many things that I consider good value but this is one of them.
I wanted the extended warranty but the two services and MOTs and roadside assistance are just a bonus in my opinion but when you look at the package as a whole it's great value.
Personally I think you're taking a gamble with these cars if you're out of warranty considering the cost of replacement parts and labour costs.

I had two all-in-one plans on my last car, I think they were excellent value albeit at £30pm then. Even at £40 though, I'd take one out.

As with the other replies here, I took it out when mine reached 3 year old point. At the last service [Oct 25] the car just turned 5 years old and managed to get another 2 years cover [warranty, MOT, service, breakdown] for the same price from VW so not bad. My mileage is below average and has a full VW service history which possibly helped? Peace of mind for £30 a month, sort of...!

I’ve just got an other All in plan. Just had service and MOT and having creaking top mounts re-oiled ( needed doing in first year) and reversing camera replaced under warranty. Had battery fail last month and used the recovery call out who came in 25 minutes. So it’s good value and gives peace of mind.

My battery failed at the 4 year point so no warranty which left me faced with a bill plus reset etc. Happy days...

I had “ All in” plans on my mk7
I have more “ peace of mind “ now that the car is out of warranty.
If it breaks, I fix it.
The almost inevitable servicing and warranty battles are quite tiresome- I’m very happy not to have to face that again
