Title: Stuck cup holder

Anyone any idea how to release a stuck cup holder in the centre console?

Locked open and there’s no play in the button.

Tried sliding a piece of thin plastic behind to sweep out any debris but no luck.

Stock answer but a blast of WD40 or similar release agent could do it. Might be compacted grime or build up of dust at a guess.

Got it.  Had to squeeze the panel in rather than prize out.  Was blocked by a piece of metal off the wife’s phone case!
