Hi guys,
Had many a MK5 in my life but recently bought a 2014 MK7 and have to say I am absolutely loving it! However, this morning when I got up to go to work I noticed what looked like a bit of oil on the floor where I had been parked, specifically near the drivers side tyre. I haven't had chance to look at it properly yet or get underneath it, but is there anything 'common' that I should look out for here? Anything on that side of the engine etc that could have caused it?
I have checked the levels manually and it was all good so if it is a leak it's likely to be small.
Cheers

The sump is plastic, it may be worth checking that it isn't cracked. It could also just be spillage from where it has been topped up.

Mine was the plastic sump as mentioned above. I fitted a genuine VAG steel one in its place.

Thanks guys, will take a nosy this weekend and see what I can see! Does seem to have not lost any fluid the last few days..

Ok might sound silly but are 100% sure it's oil? I thought behind the front wheel was the classic place for the AC drain to drip water onto the floor.
