Hello,
New owner of a MK7 GTi (2014) DSG which I am loving. So in the last few days I have noticed that no hot air will come out of the air vents. The car gets up to temperature normally and the needle is reading in the central (normal) position. I scanned the car and two fault codes pop up for heater support pump open circuit (P16C100) and coolant shut off valve (P188900).
Anyone else had this issue and how did you fix the issue? When I turn the engine off I can hear a pump running for several mins afterwards.
Thanks for any help.

Had exactly the same issue with my 2014 and also noticed when I shut off the ignition the Aux pump was not running to cool the Turbo.
Scanned and same Aux pump error so that was replaced. Sadly the heater was still not warming up. Ended up replacing the Heater Matrix problem solved. Cause was some leak fix I had put in because of constant water pump leak (on my 6th one) and the matrix can not be flushed as it had bypass galleries. The new Matrix fixed the heater instantly. NEVER use any rad leak fix products they will cause problems sooner or later.
Also don't use a dealer for the Matrix as they remove the dash (or charge you the time) as it can be done just by removing the glovebox.
