Hello, new here, so I want to properly introduce myself.
I'm Tom from Belgium, 52 years old and a real petrolhead.
After my first car (VW Polo) I 've been driving various hot hatches (Peugeot 205 Gti 1/9, 106 16v, ..., Skoda Octavia Vrs, Hyundai i30N manual and for the last 3,5 years a Hyundai i30N DCT). There's also an Abarth 124 spider in my garage, but that is purely a hobbycar.
Yesterday I ordered a Golf Gti 50 Years edition in Moss Green with Black Warmenau wheels and a few other options. Delivery is scheduled around 15/05/2026, so no pictures yet.
I hope to find lots of info here and will probably visit this forum quite a lot  :wink:

There are some very nice cars in your list. Hopefully the GTI 50 won’t disappoint!

I have a feeling that rather than you finding out lots of info on here you’ll actually be educating us - we can’t even order the model in the UK just yet. You might well have your car a while before we get any over here unless there’s an early batch of RHD cars punted out before yours arrives. I hope your wait isn’t too long and painful.
