Hi all,

Back in a golf and a lovely gti 8.5.   Only had it a few days so still getting used to the tech etc.

One thing I did notice whilst driving it back home yesterday was the dsg gear numbers only display in sport mode,  but when in "D" mode its just the letter and no number gear? Does anyone know if this is normal and a new thing on the golf please?

Yes, that's normal unfortunately and as far as I'm aware there is no workaround. Apart from driving in sport permanently of course.

Thanks,  yeah kinda odd really,  manual mode paddles it shows also.  No biggy just wanted to check it wasn't software related.

Its the same on the Mk8.
