Hoping for some help with this issue I have having with my 7.5 GTI.
The park aid button on the RHS of the gear stick is not lighting up at all and i get the following error in OBD11:
Parking Aid Indicator Light - Open Circuit
I have pulled out and plugged in the 10 pin connector on the button module - no change
I have taken the button module out of this car and plugged it into my wife's GTD and it lights up and works fine
I have checked the fuse F32: 7.5A Front Camera Driver Assistance System, Remote Control Control Module, Parking Assist System Control Module, Parallel Parking Control Module
I am thinking its a problem with the 10 pin connector or a broken wire in the loom that goes from the button module to the parking aid control module.
Does anyone know where the control module is located so I could check continuity of the cable?
