Title: Ride Height comparison
Post by: CrunchtheApple78 on 25 November 2025, 15:07
I have tried to find out a ride height comparison between my 7.5PP with DCC and the ED50. So far I’ve got the following

Standard golf - 136mm
7.5 performance - 20mm lower
DCC - additional 5mm lower

Making 111mm

Standard - 136mm
ED50 - 15mm lower
Perf Pack - additional 5mm

Making 116mm

None of what I have found fills me with confidence on accuracy. Can anyone help with correcting or confirming the above please?

Also, what is clubsport ride height as a comparison to both my 7.5 and ED50?

Thanks.

As i understood it, DCC actually raises the car +5mm - believe this was also true on the 7.5s too

From a while back:
Golf 8 ride heights <trim levels>:

Base/Life/Style = 0mm
R-Line = -15mm
GTI/GTD = -15mm
R = -20mm
GTE = +25mm
DCC equipped = -10mm instead of whatever stated above.

So to be clear on that the common answer was, yes DCC cars sit higher than non-DCC cars.
