I've discovered the rear air vents between the front seats is barely blowing anything out the other day. Tried with heat turned right up and right down but barely trickle of air coming out. Car is a 21 plate, and I've got the extended warranty at the moment, so wondering if this would be covered buy that? Otherwise any tricks that can be tried to get it working without a costly/time consuming trip to the dealers?

When you say you have the extended warranty, VW have a range of warranty products and the cover will differ from product to product. So whether or not your warranty covers your issue may depend on its scope of cover.
- VW’s stand alone extended warranty product where you can select either All Component or Named Component cover
- VW’s All In product which also includes servicing, MOT and breakdown cover
- VW’s Approved Used warranty
So maybe check the small print in the warranty booklet for your specific warranty to see if it would cover failure of and / or defective components of the heating and ventilation system. Presumably heating and cooling from the front vents for the driver and front seat passenger is working as it should?

Thanks. I've got the All in One. Will have a look at the detail. Front vents all working fine

Might be covered. Might not. Got to try to get in touch with the useless service dept at MK VW. Might be quicker to sell the car.
