Title: Adding road sign recognition to a 7.5

Hi all, any ideas if it can be done or if it's a faff? A mate has a TCR with it, does it need a camera fitted or is there one by default?

This guy is the only person I've seen doing it, and it gives Lane Assist, Traffic Sign Recognition and High Beam Assist.

Looks like East Yorkshire Retrofits (one of the forum sponsors over on the Seat / Cupra forum) also does it. The price they quote on their website includes taxes whereas the VW Retrofit price at the link you’ve posted excludes VAT. They get very good reviews by Seat / Cupra forum members who’ve used them.

It can be done, probably not DIY.

I've seen people offer it as a package - it needs a new camera, wiring, a new windscreen and coding.... about £1200.

I was hoping I had the kit and it just needed enabling, I'll just watch out for the signs  :grin:
