I removed the original post as I thought I'd blethered on too much.
Anyway, Clubsport sold after 6 months and moving to an M340i Touring.
Dont have a bad word to say about the Gti. It went like hell, cornered great and did all the everyday stuff very well, much smoother than my S3.
Anyway, another spur of the monent sale, as usual based of the value going towards what I paid.
I'll no doubt be back in a Gti at some point!!

Once a BMW owner they’ll keep sucking you back in.
Once a GTI owner - likewise.
Have fun with the next toy and see you back here soon/eventually! :afro:

Cheers for that, I've changed a few cars but always keep an eye on the forums.
Yoyr probably right I love the 6 pot BMW engines but also have no issue jumping back in a Gti.
The last few cars I've said ' I'm gonna keep this one a while' but as soon as the value creeps back to close to what I paid the wheels start spinning again.
At least the other half doesn't get annoyed, she just shakes her head and looks up in despair!!

Chaps, just for your info I've removeda few parts from ghe Clubsport to return it to standard prior to collection.
I'll put them on the 'For sale' section of the forum.
OEM Golf R 8 paddle shifters
GE90' Audison centre speaker upgrade
Alu left foot rest.
Cheers.
Ps, also forgot the plate, CL25 UBB (bought purely for the car) has been removed and is for sale if anyone likes the look of it.
£400 from DVLA and looking for the same back.
