Hi All,

Just want to introduce my new GTI to the forum

Only a few pics and picked up at the dealers unprepared as it was going to the detailer. Cracking job on the car. Also managed together a nice pic of old car and new car.

Only just seen this thread tucked away.

Beautiful looking Clubsport James

How are you finding it after the 7.5R?

Sadly not had much chance to drive it yet with it being in the detailers and now having a weeks holiday but from the little driving I have done feels more refined and grown up. The throttle pedal of the GTI does feel more lively though even in comfort.

The R was a cracking car though so will be hard to beat it’s more raw nature, but I did always feel the car did not have a great front end and turn in on both continentals and Michelins so looking forward to seeing what the GTI is like.

The Clubsport is much sharper and also more responsive than the 7R.
I’ve owned both in slightly different guises, they kind of trade talents with one another.
