The external gloss black strip on the edge of the door creaks, especially in warm sunny weather. (the one with the Volkswagen logo at the bottom) I did see a post on here that mentioned the issue a few years back on the MK8 (mine is 8.5). Anyone else had this issue and managed to get a fix. It’s more like a click noise that I can hear by my right ear, but it also does it in the other doors. Pressing the strip from the outside does make it click. Great workmanship :laugh: anyone managed to get a fix for this ?

Yeah I have this as creaking in my 8.5 when in warm weather. My old 7.5 didn't have the issue, so some cost saving somewhere that has reduced quality and effectiveness.
