Title: Hi , thought I'd take a look in after all these years!

Used to be on here years ago as admin , and organize the odd meet n stuff but couldnt get my old Kniterider username to work. Just got back into a mk2 Gti after a long absence. Wasnt quite sure if forums were still a thing but its still here!

Is there no way of getting a decent shielded cold air feed into the open cone filter?

Post by: kniterider on 22 July 2025, 20:49: Hi JV, yes it's deffo been a while 🤦 life's been busy , have a little bit of time for a 4 wheeled toy now after doing many other ve's Audi and building my own camper , got a new Amarok as me work truck which is nice and decided to sack the bikes off for a while and get this.... But lairy tbh 270bhp and if you can get the traction down it torque steers like a bad person... 😂 , few bits to sort / finish it off.... You kept hold of the Rallye or got new / other toys?

Sounds like you've been keeping busy. That mk2 really does look good :cool:

Rallye went a while ago now, put it back to standard and sold all the cheeky bits off separately.... which funded quite a lot of a GR Yaris... which are badged as a Rallye in some markets, so it was clearly a sign :grin:

Also have a Cupra Formentor but currently no Golf. Disgraceful I know :evil:
