Title: Fold in mirrors

Hi,
We have just bought my wife a 1.5 R Line Mk8 Golf. It does not have the powered fold in mirrors. Is it possible to fold them in manually?
I have tried with a minimum amount of force, but it appears they do not want to move. Can anyone please give me any advice/tips? Thank you.

Did it involve turning them in diagonally upwards?
