Title: Std suspension differences?

I found out my rear shocks are leaking, looking to replace them. In terms of different types I could opt for, are PP springs and shocks any better / stiffer / lower than a std gti, and then are tcr / cs different again in terms of stiffness / height or are they all pretty much the same?
