Title: Brake pads
Post by: Colh on 17 April 2025, 15:04
Downside of keeping the bleeding thing, need new brake pads

Been quoted £358.08 front, £233.44 rear plus £75 brake fluid.

How does this stack up price wise?  I’m none the wiser tbh.

Hi Fred.  Yep, just pads.

Oem Front pads are about 150 so the only difference will be the labour rate. Probably a couple of hours to do the fronts.

Rears are slightly cheaper parts and easier labour.

So probably half the cost parts, half labour?

Just replaced all the tyres too, so should keep me going for a bit anyway.

The fronts are easier to change in my experience, particularly if being done on axle stands. as you can turn the steering wheel the get to the caliper bolts easily, as you’re not hindered by the wheel arch.
