Title: electrical Hum

My GTI has started to have an electrical hum for a few minutes after start up and shut down.
this is a new phenomenon.
Any ideas please

I get this as well sometimes, I believe it’s coming from the cd player in the glove box? Mines done it since Iv owned the car about 2 years now

Yeah it's the fan on the "brain box" hidden behind the glove box.
