Title: New member from Ireland - CS 45 Edition

Been a lurker to the group for a while so said I'd join in.

Donach is my name and I'm based in Mayo in the West of Ireland. I've been in MK7 Golfs for the last 7 years, 2 in a GTD and an R for 5.

The R is a great car, 5 door manual in Limestone Grey which I added some nice mods to (Stage 1 tune, KW v2s & rear ARB, 7.5 interior, custom steering wheel and gear shifter) but after 5 years I said it was time to let someone else enjoy it.

I've just done a deal on a MK8 Clubsport Ed 45 which I hope to collect this weekend. I'm getting old now so the mods on this will be very minimal (famous last words!).

Other VAG cars I've owned are a MK5 2.0 TDi, MK5 GTi and a B8 A4 TFSi which I ended up hating and trading after 12 months for a new Fiesta ST.

Always been a big Golf fan so I'm really looking forward to picking up my Clubsport. It's a really well specced example but has covered a fair few miles all with one keeper so I'm hoping it'll be a good car for me into the future.

As the previous owner of a white mk8 Clubsport I can tell you I liked that car far more then I ever thought I would. I had a modified mk7R too some years ago, not as good a spec as yours though in the case of both cars. Love the photos you posted, especially of the R in action.
