Title: Back to VAG. GTI Clubsport Edition 40!
Post by: kaz on 03 February 2025, 09:27
Hello all!

Been browsing the forums for a few weeks now as I have recently just purchased this GTI CS!

And yes, they have the bucket seats. :nerd:

A few years ago I had the Cupra 300, then sold it for a BMW 118d as I was doing a lot of motorway journeys.
Now working fully remote so decided to treat myself.

Any recommendations/mods going forward?

Hi Kaz, looks great  Manual or DSG? Looks pretty much perfect as is, I'd just drive and enjoy.

Stuck with the DSG - I primarily live in London so get stuck in traffic a lot. Thanks and definitely have been! Need to get over the mental barrier of averaging 56mpg with the diesel vs 26

If you're going to be stuck in traffic, may as well do it in buckets!

I'm surprised to find that the buckets are super comfortable, especially compared with my 1 series BMW. Heated seats are superb.

Welcome kaz  and as a former 5 door white Ed40 owner all I can say is “good choice!”
Mine didn’t have the buckets though so not as cool as yours!
