Hi Guys,
Noobie Question.
I have a Golf GTI 70 plate with the winter pack. I was told from the dealer that it had heated seats ect. However it doesn't seem to have them? There is no seat icon in the climate control settings, nor does voice activation work. Could this be disabled or does it not have them at all? Would it be possible to get the fitted from VW?
Thanks in advance

If it definitely has the winter pack, then it has heated seats. But! If there are no icons on the display for the seat heating, I’d unfortunately say you don’t actually have the winter pack. it would be possible to have a suitable retrofit company fit seat heating, as I believe VW sell a retrofit kit, or at least they used to with the mk7!. Not impossible, but very unlikely that they would have been disabled.

I think the dealer told you a fib.
Having had a 70 plate GTI myself that didn’t have Winter Pack and now a 73 plate Golf with Winter Pack I can tell you it’s very obvious if you have heated seats or not.
If you have cloth seats it’s no great issue as they don’t feel particularly cold even in very cold conditions.
