Title: GTI mk7.5 PP Haldex faliure

Hi everyone just wondering if anybody has had there Haldex unit failing whether it being the pump or the diff itself? Is a fault code stored, did yous getting horrible knocking through the driveline, I have a feeling mine is possibly done for and I’ve got no warranty on the car, I’m going to be servicing it tomorrow so hopefully it’s just full of gunk and sorts itself out once it’s been serviced

Yup, I had this exact problem with my TCR. Was knocking when accelerating around 10mph and was horrendous.

Garage replaced the pump under warranty thankfully as the bill was over £2000.

Best way to confirm is to unplug the pump and see if the noise goes away.
