I have a 2019 GTI with LED headlights. The dynamic cornering lights appear to work fine, however I keep getting the following error on the dash:

Local VW garage says they can't do anything because the fault is not active when they are investigating the issue.
Has anyone had the same problem and got it resolved?
Thanks in advance

I had the error about a month or so ago following some really really bad rain. Not sure if it was connected but the fault cleared. All looked ok with everything working as expected.
Same answer from dealership as you got. They did say if the bulb had gone it would be hugely expensive to replace as would be full unit change.

One side of mine went off one wet morning but came back on after I did a restart - a few hours later I received an email from my dealer saying they had noticed an issue and I should book it in! I just replied saying it was ok now.

do the lights do the 'dance' when you start up ?

Even after nearly 6 years, I never get bored of that😀

Yep, everything appears to be working fine. I suspect its an intermittent fault with the motor that swivels the led.
The only way to fix it will be to replace the headlight but the VW garage just claim they can't do anything because the error is not showing when they have it in on test. Not surprising as it mostly errors at night.
Anyone have any success with the VW all in warranty (not the manufactures warranty) claiming for an intermittent fault?

This happened to me last night for the first time ever. Got home and checked the lights and all seemed to be working. Turned the ignition back on and the error was gone.....strange!! One to keep an eye on.

Quick update on this one:
Went in for diagnostics and a fault was found with the LED output module.
Second visit to replace the module but further diagnostics showed a problem that required a complete replacement headlight.
Third visit to replace the headlight and get it calibrated.
£2458 in total !!!! but luckily covered under the extended warranty
