Title: Will these wheels fit?

Hiya,
Can anyone please help me with a fitment question.
I have a 2019 Mk7 Golf GT with 17inch Dijon wheels with 225/45/17 tyres & wondering if i could fit the attached 18 inch Golf R alloys with 225/40/18's without ruining the ride..
Any advice appreciated.

They’ll fit just fine Jim, and ride won’t be too much worse. You’ll probably notice it at first but after a week or two you won’t.
When it comes to changing the tyres again maybe opt for a more comfortable tyre than a Golf R spec ultra high performance type. That’ll help.
