spot on mate, alan i wouldn't worry about the difference between 8/16v as the drop is measured from standard ride height so a 40mm kit will drop a regular golf 40mm, an 8v 20 mm and a 16v 10mm. does that make sense?
-
Thanks Joe
That does make sense. In fact I had not really worked out what 40mm lower was 40mm lower than!
From what I have read a lot of people feel that 40mm drop and Koni/eibach is the way to go.
I will just have to save the money.
Thanks for your help
Kind regards Alan

i got 60mm drop on jamex shocks and springs and i can tell you there exceptional ride comfort is no differnt to standard and cornering is spot on :D even in the wet.

What wheel/tyres are you using?
Do you have no problems with tyres cathing on anything.
