Hi Guys,
I have just bought a set of BBS wheels for my mk7 gti 5x112 x 8.5 ET45 and was wondering what size of tires i should fit for grip rather than looks, I am thinking 235 /35 / 19, What thinks you?
Cheers RG

I have the same spec BBS CI-R and run 235/35, 225 will fit but it will be more stretched I should have photos of 225 and 235 on 8.5J somewhere.

Thanks for the answer, i looked at your instagram and they look great, Just a bit a wary of going with 19s for comfort due to our 5hitty Edinburgh roads.

I was on woeful roads at the weekend, it was scene you'd only see in suspension tests no line markings either. 19s aren't that bad but if you're regularly on very poor roads go for the 18s, I've made the conscious sacrifice for aesthetics otherwise I'd be on 18s.
