Title: Stock to Revo stage 2
Post by: Henners on 27 June 2024, 17:01
Hi,

I have a stock 2016 PP GTI DSG with a CSS backbox.

Was originally planning to go stage 1 with Revo but I'm now thinking to go straight for stage 2. I understand the bulk of the performance upgrade is stage 1, with only around 20HP/ 10LBFT gained from stage 2, however the hardware is where the difference is made. Anyone gone from Revo stage 1 to stage 2 to comment on how much extra fun stage 2 is? In terms of the engine/ intake noise and general sportiness and fun.

I'm looking for more power, fun and noise when I'm getting on it, without a lot of loud exhaust drone noise when driving normally. Stage 2 with Revo doesn't include a downpipe or sports cat, so is the exhaust any different?

Any other stage 2 considerations would love to hear

Cheers

You will need a hi-flow cat for stage 2. Sorry if I'm misunderstanding.
