Title: Mud Guards...
Post by: rowlers on 17 May 2024, 16:53
For interest, and it may help some one, I've had my arch guards fitted for a couple of weeks now, and thought I'f let you know my thoughts. They are very unobtrusive, you barely know they are there.
But they don't half stop a lot if road grime getting thrown down the side of the car! Very, very impressed:

Hopefullly there will be some rears to match in the near future.

If interested, check out Arch Guardian on Facebook.

@Rowlers FYI the alloygators can cause white worm and scratch the finish

You'll have to contact Jason of Arch Guardian. He sells direct as far as I know. The rear sets are going to be available asap too.

They are Rim Blades, stuck on with 3m VHB tape. I only put them on to hide an existing scuff. The wheels are original as far as I can tell, so they aren't doing too badly for 7 year old.

I have the carbon AP ones from Awesome Gti on mine, they're definitely worth adding if your running wheels with spacers or a different ET as you'll get stones chipping the bottom of the front wing & it starting to rust 😬

Mine are cheaper and more rounded from JL styling Parts on eBay

Ignore the rust, pic was taken to show a Bodyshop to repair
