Isn’t that “Golf” lady standing in front of a Passat??
And if thefts have been recorded since 2017 that would involve the Mk7 radar which was very different?
And finally, can you really just undo 3 screws and ouch the badge/sensor????

I mean pinch (bloody predictive again!)

Incidentally, has ANY forum member ever had their radar sensor nicked??

And by posting articles like this or links all it does is give more scumbags the headsup that they are easy to steal and worth a lot of money, when they had never realised! so probably not the best idea to keep posting links really.

All that does imo is get the thefts to be more common as more dodgy people read this too!

From our point of view unless our cars are garaged 24 7 nothing we can do to stop it anyway so only people it helps is the people who make money from stuff they steal.

There are other reports - some quite old - of VW front sensor thefts on the internet (e.g. other forums, news sources), so whether or not this discussion topic had been started, the scumbags have already been given a headsup anyway.

But some other "Scumbags" must be buying them too and, presumably, these "Scumbags" are VW owners?

Can these devices be calibrated by anyone, other than an authorised dealer?
