Title: Clubsport decal
Post by: clarky92 on 20 January 2024, 14:53
The one and only mod I’m doing to the Clubsport. In my opinion this is how the factory decals should have looked

Not a fan of large decals personally, I prefer a more stealth appearance. Yours is better than oem for sure, but each to thier own mate 👍

Fair enough, I get the stealthy look. Didn’t sit right with me there wasn’t a single Clubsport badge or sticker in the car.

Pogiparts on eBay. About £40 delivered from Germany

:afro: it looks far more ‘finished’ than the original factory ‘abandoned halfway through’ sticker for sure.

Brilliant. I have located the sticker on Ebay - any tips on fitting it? Reason I ask is you might of figured out a good way to get it lined up etc.

Prep wise im thinking the usual wash process, decontaminate, quick clay bar on that specific patch then wondering if you did the wet fit process or not?

I'm also very tempted to try this decal on my CS. Just worried about a slight misalign and always seeing it off

I’ve used masking tape on the clear backing to align and then can just peel the white backing off and stick it down.

Sorry for the late reply

Masking tape, patience, measuring and a bit more patience.

Job Done, I took my time and i think did an ok job, quite fiddly, measuring up the spaces and making sure the gaps were the same, But i think imo it finishes the look off for me... One thing to note in my case the item arrived damaged , post had crushed the box was quite shocked at how the seller sent them in a tiny box folded up..
