Title: ABS Light coming on

last night on the motorway the abs light came on, then it went off and come back on a few times now its permenantly on but the brakes look fine and stop dead on the spot any ideas whats up the it??? ive looked in the haynes manual for it but theres nothing in their regarding this fault, any help appreciated  cheers

Clean your sensors mate. That's "mk3 ABS 101" lol!

check the wires coming from your brakes mine had worn a bit and did exactly what your describing
