Title: Auto Tilt Mirror

As the title says My mark 7.5 r does not have this option, I have been told I can get it by coding is that true?

OBD eleven is recommend to do this If i buy the dongle is it easy to do , of i get the dongle then I might as well code more things.

Do we have to pay for every coding is done by OBD Eleven or can we pay just one off payment for all the coding option what do you guys advise.

Put the mirror control to the Left setting and put it in reverse, then you can adjust the mirror position for it to change every time in reverse. It must be left in L for it to work.

I believe that if you have a reverse camera as standard that this replaces the auto tilt function.

Not on mine.

I have both but have turned off the dip with reverse through the menu.

I have both on mine as well, though I leave the dip function on, anything that helps me parallel park is worth it🫣

Thanks for the reply everyone.
I do have reverse camera but it does not tilt at all, In my last car Mercedes C300. I had Camera all round and mirror use to tilt and same in my BMW's.

I can't see the setting either on the screen..

2 different modules come with the car, one with memory, one without, if you got the one without then you need to replace and reprogram the unit on the new module
You will need obdeleven or vcds to see if has the memory
Obd eleven comes in 2 packages (well 3 kinda)
One is basic, that’s the dongle, and code reading/clearing and the use of paid programming via credits (they call them apps
Other is pro, which is now a subscription service (pay every year) has all the features of basic plus the ability to go into the modules and change the settings yourself (called coding) (apps are basically scripts of this, that changes everything needed for the mod, but are sometimes unreliable)
Third option is ultimate, which you don’t need credits for, plus you can write your own “apps”, but if your coding it doesn’t make any sense getting this

I’m guessing you know this, but in case not, the check box is in Settings / Mirrors & Wipers.
