Hi all, I’ve a charcoal grey gti 7 with the Santiago alloys. To be honest can’t be fussed getting them diamond cut again as know the white rot will be back so thinking of getting them coated in one colour. Does anyone recommend what colour goes best and post some pictures if they’ve done something similar. Think I’m gonna go for either gloss or satin black.
Thanks

There were a few members on here who had their Santiagos finished in shadow chrome which was effective.
All black might be a bit much.

I think dark wheels on grey look a bit naff. Lighter finish better IMHO.

I’m not too keen on black alloys - IMHO unless they’ve just been cleaned, they always seem to have a visible layer of brake dust on them, plus gloss black alloys tend to be a bit of a swirl magnet. Also with black alloys, the detail of the wheel’s design tends to get ‘lost’ unless you’re up close to the car.
@bsides; My preference would be a shade of grey - anthracite or gunmetal - or smoked chrome. Not a mk7 or Santiago alloys, but I had a set of anthracite alloys on my Carbon Grey mk6 GTD and IMHO the Carbon Grey / anthracite colour combination worked well.
