Title: WANTED: instrument cluster for ‘91 mk2 - burnt out bulb/ PCB
Post by: Swissalan on 11 October 2023, 06:49
Hi

My dash cluster bulbs stopped working - due to a burnt out PCB. So looking for one as a replacement

The image shows the right part number. Anyone got one for sale?

Also any idea what causes this to burn out?  Second image shows the issue. Everything else is working fine.

Is it not repairable by one of the specialist dash repair companies?

You can buy pcb repair paint that is electrically conductive for about £5. Might be worth a try first? Looks as though the electrical track on the pcb could have developed a small break and overheated.
