Post by: Ken Tobin on 21 August 2023, 09:43
Hey Guys,
Just wondering if anyone has been using the OPDeleven. I have a 2021 Clubsport that I am thinking of trying it on . Any information would be great

Thanks

I have one which I bought for two specific reasons of which I did on day one.
I turned off the fake noise and I set the lane assist to remember the last setting which is OFF.
I've also used it to clear the errors which I tend to do every couple of months but I've been particularly lucky with my car as I rarely get any bongs.

Yep I got one, used it to switch lane assist to persistent OFF.
Also used it ot reset airbag light as I unplugged the passenger one when installing a dashcam.
Scan and clear faults every now and then too.

Still trying to figure out if we can enable teardrop front wipers or not, but no luck yet. Definitely worth it.

Yes it's been pretty good for me. A few things I've done and it's been worth the money just to get rid of Lane assist!

You'll want at least the pro pack for sfd unlocking stuff the standard only does sfd via one click apps which are paid for by credits. I'm pretty clued up on long coding and adaptions from my mk5 days etc so didn't need the unlimited one click apps the ultimate pack offers.

What other good adaptions have people done?

Hopefully admin wont mind, but there is a dedicated OBD11 section on the Golf R forum which may be of interest:  https://www.vwroc.com/forums/forum/84-obdeleven/

There is an extensive doc on the OBD11 forum that shows what is possible... and how to do it.

I've also activated the display of the nav map in my dash (not enabled by default on older cars like mine), enabled exit warning (not enabled on older cars...) and a couple of other bits.
