Is the plan to hit things instead?
Not for me mate has just bought a 7.5 gti and sensor keeps going off randomly without reason just wondering if he could turn it off till he gets it sorted I never looked when I had mine as never had the issue.

There was quite a lengthy thread on this subject where a guys daughter had the same issue, maybe worth trying to find that. I tried looking but can’t find it but ISTR it can’t be done?

Either there is a fault with it that needs to be fixed or the driving style needs to be changed as they are too close to other cars. Most times it is the latter.

It goes off because it believes you are going to hit something and haven't spotted it.
Steering or braking or acceleration changes cancel its calculation.
If you are someone who blindly drives up to things making no kinda of evasive action.... yes its going to brake dab you.
