Well it took me 7 months of having to drive a Rover after blowing my ECU among other parts but now I have the dub back on the road I start every morning at work with a smile :grin:

I never remembered how much fun this car is to drive   :cool:

The resistance of the accelerator, the feel that you have to push down and give it some and the instant response as it pulls smoothly through the gears not to mention the joy of rain and understeer as you power it through roundabouts!!!! I love this car!

Anyway, the most annoying thing that tended to wear the last time I used it as a daily driver was the wheel bearings (might have something to do with my wheels/tyres 215/40/17) so I've decided to try and find some uprated/performance wheel bearings.  Anybody here know of any suppliers?

Shame I wasn't back on the road very long, problems with my fuel pump electricals causing me to kangaroo down the road  :cry:

She's down at VAG now though so hopefully we'll resume the fun tomorrow.
