Title: Throttle body
Post by: Bucko72 on 06 June 2023, 05:12
Hi guys after some technical advice. I have a mk6 gti and love it. It’s had a stage 1 and I’ve put scorpion exhaust on it. Runs sweet as most of the time. I was getting a 222 and 221 Ecu alarm. Replaced throttle body and accelerator pedal. Alarms have now gone. Most of the time runs sweet but sometimes looses a little bit of boost. My question is do they need to be calibrated/reset. Is there a trick to resetting. Excuse my ignorance for not knowing.

From the thread above you comented on.

I missed that bit. Ask who ever fitted it if they did an adaption?
Watch below for why and how to do it.

Throttle body may need adaption.

But sounds more like you have a diverter valve that maybe going faulty which has a slight tear In the diaphragm.

Others maybe able to advise better on which aftermarket ones, I've read good and bad about all of them over time.
